Your Ideal Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on the Zodiac Sign

This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm across the fandom. From the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions before the game's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought naturally: How can connect this with astrology? This list is inspired by a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Stay on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful ally; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Much like a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Several previous Pokédex entries mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this total royalty. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, offering an constant fountain of chatter to anyone who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to predict an opponent's next moves, which seems quite like a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly considered as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for often getting absorbed in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its capability to create a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being too fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected across this creature's whole lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to worry more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a show. Being a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Detached element Aquarius is possibly the non-flame sign that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire category fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating presence is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
